This Workshop will take place
From Monday, March, 14th, 2011
To Friday, March, 18th, 2011
in ZKM, Germany
Invited artists such as Sebastian Berweck (pianist) and Robert Henke (composer, software engineer), who work with different experimental expression forms, will design concerts and will actively engage in the discussions. The focus of all these activities lies in digital compositional techniques as well as in the question of the digital avant-garde: if they exist, where are they now?
March 14th-18th, 2010 - every day 10am-6pm
Computer based works will emerge from an intensive collaboration between teachers and students by the use of advanced compositional techniques like algorithmic composition (SuperCollider), physical modeling (Genesis) and spatialization (Zirkonium). The works will be presented with the ZKM_Klangdom.
This workshop is primarily addressed to students of sound design and composition.
Participation fee: 75 Euro per person for the whole week.
Register and mention your favorite focus (algorithmic composition, physical modeling and spatialization) until February 28 by sending a mail to email@example.com
